Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firebase Auth and Firestore), which operates on Google Cloud infrastructure. Event data transmitted from your fire panel is encrypted in transit via TLS. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorised access.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using FirePanel PRO products or services, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Nature of Service — Important Limitation

FirePanel PRO is a supplementary monitoring and notification tool only. It is not an AS 1670-compliant monitored fire alarm system and does not replace a licensed fire monitoring station. You must not rely on FirePanel PRO as your sole or primary means of fire detection or emergency response. The customer remains solely responsible for ensuring their premises meet all fire safety obligations under applicable Australian laws and standards.

3. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Connectivity depends on 4G/LTE mobile network coverage, cloud infrastructure, and hardware function. We are not liable for missed notifications or service outages caused by factors outside our control, including network failures, power outages, or hardware faults.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
You must not share technician access codes or QR codes with unauthorised persons
You must ensure the FirePanel PRO hardware is installed by a qualified person
You must not use the service for any unlawful purpose

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FirePanel PRO and its operators accept no liability for any loss, damage, injury, or harm — including property damage or personal injury — arising from your use of or reliance upon this service, including any failure to receive notifications in a timely manner.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, software, branding, and hardware designs associated with FirePanel PRO are the intellectual property of Firepanel Pro (ABN 59 287 528 657). You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any part of this service without written permission.
